Brief: As a self-initiated project, I set out to create a set of 80 generic icons for signage and map-icons for American national parks. My goal was to create a cohesive and informative set that would enhance the user experience for park visitors.
Design Process: I started by researching the various types of information that visitors would need when navigating national parks. From there, I created a list of categories and began sketching out ideas for each icon. Once I had a rough concept, I refined the design and carefully followed a strict grid to maintain consistency between icons.
Intended Use: These icons are designed to be used in signage and maps throughout American national parks. By using a cohesive and informative icon set, park visitors will be able to easily navigate and explore the park.
